Durango Resources is a private oil and gas exploration and production company founded by Jeff Swanson in 1998. Durango has organically grown from the ground-up (no seed capital) by making low-cost acquisitions of mature conventional oil and gas fields with significant upside and efficiently reinvesting cash flow into recompletions and low-risk drilling. We have identified several infill drilling locations within our current producing assets that are projected to increase our PDP NPV10 by 7-fold at current strip prices. We are currently raising capital from private investors to grow our assets and to take advantage of the low oil price environment by acquiring onshore conventional oil assets that match our technical and operational expertise.
Our founding members (Jeff Swanson and Greg Stevens) have over 50 years of successful consulting experience (particularly in geologic modeling and engineering studies for major oil companies), and we have leveraged this expertise to create a track record of growing reserves and production while maintaining low debt. Our 5-year cumulative annual growth rates (CAGR) are as follows: Production = 22%, Reserves = 32%, and Norm. NPV10 = 19%.
